This month, we proudly say THANK YOU to the Maryetta Board of Education for their dedicated service to Maryetta Public School.
Together, our three board members represent more than 78 years of combined service to the students, families, and community of Maryetta. That experience matters. It brings valuable perspective, stability, thoughtful leadership, and a deep commitment to doing what is best for our school district. While each member brings a unique voice to the table, all share the same purpose: serving Maryetta Public School with integrity, care, and dedication. We would also like to recognize each board member individually for their time and service:
Larry Eagleton – 53 years of service (all as Board President) Thank you for your extraordinary, long-standing commitment to Maryetta Public School. Your steady leadership, experience, and devotion have guided the district through decades of growth and change.
Kevin Stuhmer – 21 years of service Thank you for more than two decades of service rooted in consistency, advocacy, and genuine care for our students and staff. Your insight and leadership have made a lasting impact on our school and community.
Joel Bean – 4 years of service Thank you for answering the call to serve and for bringing fresh energy and perspective to the board. Your contributions help move Maryetta Public School forward.

The FINAL roster and date/time schedule has been posted on ParentSquare for the after school GT enrichment classes. Most grades will be meeting every other week due to the large amount of interest. Please note these dates in your calendar. Your student should come home today with a list of dates for their grade so be sure and look in their bags for it. The 5th, 7th/8th grade basketball teams will play today at Keys. The 5th grade boys will play first at 4:30 pm. The 5th grade girls will play next, then the 7th/8th grade girls, and the 7th/8th grade boys will play last.

Students, teachers, and staff will be reporting back to school tomorrow, January 5th. Tomorrow will be a regular full day of school, with extended care and Boys and Girls Club after school. We are thrilled to see everyone back and we hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas Break!

This is Coach Littlefield. Just to clarify the 6th grade teams will be participating in the Woodall Tournament. The 5th grade teams will play at Keys. Those games start at 4:30. Each Grade gets Two Tournaments. 5th played at Dahlonegah and Peavine 6th played at Keys and will play at Woodall. Thank you and I Hope Everyone has a SAFE and Happy/Blessed New Year!!!

Congratulations to both of our 7/8th grade teams! The Raiders and Lady Raiders both won their first round of the Trinity Tournament. Our teams will play again this Friday. Girls at 2pm. Boys at 3pm. Bus will depart at 12pm.
