LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!
OKC Thunder is sponsoring a reading challenge for all 2ND GRADERS in Oklahoma. In the library the 2nd graders heard a story about RUMBLE (the OKC Thunder mascot) and were given a reading log. No minimum or maximum minutes required - just read! It is a monthly challenge beginning October 1 and is done monthly so if you forget or don't participate, you can do it the next month. Last year each time minutes were submitted the students who read and logged any time at all got really cool prizes - tshirts, notebooks, scarves, etc). It's a WIN WIN! Reading AND OKC Thunder! Hang the reading log on the refrigerator and log those minutes! At the end of each month you will get a reminder to send back the reading logs and Ms. Adrian will submit those to OKC Thunder. Happy reading!!

Calendar correction: GT Field trip on September 10th is for 2nd and 3rd grade students that have been notified., not 1st and 2nd. Thank you!

Our 8th grade students have been learning how to use our new "chompsaws" in the Stem Lab. Their goal was to research, design, and build an animal of their choice and make it stand up on it's own. A great week of building, with great results! Way to go Raiders!

Another Lady Raider getting it done! Congratulations to Layla on getting her one over the fence today!
