Don't forget!!!
The Book Fair begins on Monday Oct. 6 and goes through Thursday Oct. 9. We will be open regular school hours M-W but on Thursday we will stay open until 8:30 during parent teacher conferences.
The change challenge for the Vann Brothers showdown will collect money for those who cannot purchase a book or for tax shortages. The brother that gets the most money in their jar will get an ice water bucket poured over their head outside by the other brother. THERE WILL BE SALES TAX ON ALL ITEMS. Also remember please, Maryetta does not make the prices, it all comes from Scholastic but each purchase benefits our school and students.
Thank you for supporting our book fair! Can't wait to see you there!

Today was National "bake a cookie" day, and tomorrow just so happens to be Janitor Appreciation Day! So, in GT today after school we learned who invented the chocolate chip cookie, what food combos would you put together, q&a over would you have sold your name and recipe? Why or why not? Of course we had to end the class making chocolate chip cookies and they each got one - the rest are for our wonderful janitorial team! Win win!
