On May 7th, Maryetta is doing their school awards assemblies for elementary and for jr high. During these assemblies I will giving out specific awards given for GT students as well as the OK Citizens for Education will be here to present honors for our bookmark winners, Aaliyah and Maloree, and Ok Ag in the classroom will be here to present the award and $ prizes for the pizza design winners - Kingston, Stonewall, Raylee B. And Nayeli Paz. I will also be acknowledging the JOM writing contest winners and presenting them with a book made of all of the winning writings. Bexlynn Bruner will also read her winning poem and be acknowledged for her poem winning entry through the Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry. It will be a busy day but I want to make sure all parents/supporters know so that they can attend if they aren’t otherwise coming. So proud of all of these students this year, their drive and willingness to try new things has been beyond what I ever expected! I could not do this program extension without the support of families and my great administration at Maryetta School. I will send a note with all these reminders -

Our state archery students were recognized today for their championship in the ORES Division I State Archery Meet. Daylee Ross was the top female shooter in the state and Logan Elms was the top male shooter in the state. We also had 3 top 10 shooters in the group that went. We are so proud of all our Raiders who participated in the state meet. This is our third championship in a row for ORES state archery!

Due to construction, the buses will be loading and unloading by the administration office. Vehicles passing by the administration office will need to exercise extreme caution. Do not park inside the red cones. This will take into effect tomorrow (04-16-26) until the end of the school year (05-08-26). The buses will load on 05-08-26 at 12:10 pm; the last day of school will be a half day.

Representing Maryetta School today was Bexlynn Bruner, one of our amazing 1st graders. She attended the Wordfest in Locust Grove, got to read aloud her winning poem, make and fly a kite and got 50$ prize money and a medal! So proud of you Bex! Way to represent our Raiders!
