***ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS***

Maryetta Parents/Guardians: We want to reassure you that Maryetta School is aware of the situations going on within Adair County. Our security team will continue to monitor the situations and have put additional security measures in place. Our junior high students will NOT be going to the high school for the next few days. Rest assured we are being proactive to continue keeping all our Raiders at school in a secure place to learn and play!

Heads up for 7/8 softball players and parents. I Just received this from ORES.
It's a turf field so look at the footwear requirement.
We are preparing for our first ORES event of the year with the ORES/TS&H State Softball Tournament being held on Sept 21 (Div III), Sept 22 (Div II), and Sept 23 (Div I) at the Fire Lakes Softball Complex in Shawnee. We will formulate divisions and get softball information from schools before the end of next week. As you may know, the Fire Lakes Softball Complex is artificial turf, so only tennis shoes or turf shoes may be worn for this softball tournament. We think your players and coaches will love this venue!
I will discuss it with the girls in greater detail tomorrow. Thank You!

Thank you for your understanding.

We need your help! The gifted and talented students 1-5th grade (last year's list, new screenings and referrals coming soon) have entered a contest through the State of Oklahoma called "Uncapped". This is a recycling and creativity/writing contest utilizing bottle caps. Anytime you have a bottle of water or soda, save those lids because we will use them to make a work of art from plastic bottle caps! You can drop off bottle caps in the elementary library or in the 4H room next door. We will collect them until Sept. 18th and then we will begin our project!
